Peerialism AB makes legal, structured, commercial peer-to-peer (P2P) software. Our robust and adaptive P2P algorithms, developed at the Swedish Institute for Computer Science (SICS) and the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) enables content distributors to save money, reach more users and deliver higher quality. Our first product is PeerTV. It is a new method for online video distribution. PeerTV will enable broadcasters to reach a much greater audience to a fraction of the cost of legacy distribution. A second area we are focusing on is network optimization, i.e. a way to lower costs for Internet operators in better managing their Internet traffic. These solutions target content owners and broadband operators. Peerialism has offices in Stockholm and a development department in Cairo. |
